Budget airline easyJet is experiencing some turbulence after a fashion spread shot at Berlin’s Holocaust Memorial appeared in its in-flight magazine.
EasyJet withdrew almost 300,000 copies of the November issue of Traveller after receiving complaints from passengers -- particularly on flights to Tel Aviv -- and Jewish organizations in Europe, reports the Guardian.
The airline has apologized for the eight-page spread, which features models leaning against the pillars of Berlin's Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.
Beneath the headline “A Quick Guide to the Chic Side of Berlin,” the fashion feature presents models wearing outfits created by Berlin designers.
